Coffee Mystica, located off the Eastern coast of Africa in Mauritius, contacted us to develop a comprehensive brand, environmental, marketing and advertising campaign for this new venture. The challenge: Mauritians don't really drink coffee - they prefer tea. Oh, and not only that, but all materials had to be designed, refined, completed, produced and launched in only 8 months.
Our objective: We had to create awareness of the coffee culture within a people group to whom it was totally foreign. Our goals were to develop a brand, brand language and brand collateral which would allow Coffee Mystica to position themselves as first in a new market, and dominate a potentially lucrative market that would soon be infiltrated by the likes of nationally known names such as Starbucks.
Coffee Mystica took the island by storm; as it had never before seen anything as comprehensive as our branding effort. Coffee Mystica realized immediate success and brand recognition, and was well received by both locals and tourists alike. We were able to complete our customer's request of completing all of the materials in 8 months, fulfilled the shipping deadlines, and stayed within the stated budget.
